So, We Meet Again

Just a quick update to tell you how it's going with learning to be Steelers fans (poorly) and what we've been up to (a lot).

Our wireless router has a case of the wiggins and we're probably going to have to replace it. Siiiiigh. And so we are back to spotty 3G for posting.

Once the Internet is back to being wireless and wonderful in our house I'll be able to share a veritable glut of photos. In the mean time enjoy this picture of Adelaide and her AfĂ apple picking on her third birthday.

Working Late (Time Warp Edition)

Ben has had to pull a couple all-nighters the past few weeks. It's rough all the way around but he does get to see his building all snug and barely lit. A+ creative environment. And A+ murdering environment but whatever.

He also gets to see the city like this.

Pibsburb, you have made a place for yourself in our hearts.

Birthday Pickin' Apple Princess (Time Warp Edition)

Adelaide turned three! To celebrate we took way too many pictures went apple picking. Prepare your eyeballs for a feast of fun.

It was a tough decision but we decided to let the kids go. We set them free into the wild where they belong.

Birthday princesses get tired.

It ain't no hayride without chewing on some straw.

The wary-of-petting zoo.

The loot.

I will probably never tire of the views here. Most especially the setting sun behind the skyline as you drive into the city.

Tune in next time for more time warp episodes brought to you by Procrastinating at NaNoWriMo™

Back from Hiatus

You may have been wondering at the lack of posts lately (and if you haven't been wondering, well, I forgive you. I'll cry quietly later about not being missed. Don't worry about it. We're still friends. Wait, we're still friends right? DON'T YOU LOVE ME?!??) so I just wanted to drop in and tell you all about where I've been.

Most of my time the past six weeks has been spent in this wonderland known as The Couch.

Beautiful, isn't it? You see, my health has taken a dive. Well, maybe more like it went for a leisurely dip. I'm not on my death bed but I do have to spend a lot of time resting, which is aggravating to say the least. Thankfully the rest of the family has been able to handle this with better grace than I have.

It's not all bad though. For instance, one of my favorite places to visit in The Couch is my reading corner.

I like to spend hours here snuggling with the kids, reading, and drinking herbal tea since caffeine is a no go for me while I recover.

Sometimes I like to mix it up and sit in the far corner instead.

I don't want to make you jealous but some serious snuggling happens in that corner too. In fact, sometimes, when Ben isn't completely overrun with picking up my slack with the house, he snuggles with me there as well. Shhh. Don't tell anyone.

So that's basically the entirety of my life right now except for feeding the kiddos, changing diapers, and occasionally resting in bed instead of the couch. Ben has been having many more adventures than me (to be fair, a snail has been having many more adventures than me, but I promise Ben has been having actual adventures and shenanigans) and as soon as I manage to yank the pictures off of his phone I'll tell you all about it.

Tune in this weekend as the Greenes learn how to be Steelers fans! Kick off is this Sunday at 1pm!

Until next time!
