We made it to church this week for the first time in a long while! The past several weeks have consisted of Ben and I pressing the snooze button too many times, then dragging ourselves and the kids out of bed, and getting dressed to the nines before getting the car and realizing that by the time we make the 45 minute trek to church the service will be over. Oops! Our church, City Reformed Presbyterian, consolidates their two morning services into one over the summer and it meets an hour before the service we would usually attend. It's been biting us in the butt to say the least. But it hasn't all been bad. We've just been taking our fancied up selves and tracking down the Pittsburgh Taco Truck, because there's nothing else like eating street style tacos in your Sunday best.
If you come visit us on a Sunday then make sure we hit up the taco truck. I especially recommend the Thai chicken with slaw taco.

Fall Leaves Falling
"Every leaf speaks bliss to me
falling from the autumn tree.
I shall smile when wreaths of snow
blossom where the rose should grow..."

Hola. Again.
There is exactly one Mexican restaurant in our area and I'm pretty sure they know us by name.
We love you, Patróns!

So, We Meet Again
Just a quick update to tell you how it's going with learning to be Steelers fans (poorly) and what we've been up to (a lot).
Our wireless router has a case of the wiggins and we're probably going to have to replace it. Siiiiigh. And so we are back to spotty 3G for posting.
Once the Internet is back to being wireless and wonderful in our house I'll be able to share a veritable glut of photos. In the mean time enjoy this picture of Adelaide and her Afí apple picking on her third birthday.

Working Late (Time Warp Edition)
Ben has had to pull a couple all-nighters the past few weeks. It's rough all the way around but he does get to see his building all snug and barely lit. A+ creative environment. And A+ murdering environment but whatever.
He also gets to see the city like this.
Pibsburb, you have made a place for yourself in our hearts.

Birthday Pickin' Apple Princess (Time Warp Edition)
Adelaide turned three! To celebrate we took way too many pictures went apple picking. Prepare your eyeballs for a feast of fun.
It was a tough decision but we decided to let the kids go. We set them free into the wild where they belong.
Birthday princesses get tired.
It ain't no hayride without chewing on some straw.
The wary-of-petting zoo.
The loot.
I will probably never tire of the views here. Most especially the setting sun behind the skyline as you drive into the city.
Tune in next time for more time warp episodes brought to you by Procrastinating at NaNoWriMo™
